Brissago Summer Program
The Kent State University Graphic Design Workshop held in Brissago, Switzerland is conducted by Armin Hofmann, Head of Graphic Design at the Kunstgewerbeschule Basel (1947-1985). Other instructors at the time were Paul Rand, Herbert Mätter, Wolfgang Weingart, and Philip Burton.

Letterform Design Workshop
The Letterform Design Workshop was held at Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, Rhode Island. The instructors included Don Adleta, Andrè Gürtler, and Christian Mengelt (Kunstgewerbeschule). Michael Kroeger participated as teaching assistant for the three week workshop.
